Who We Are Looking For

Stryder is currently seeking a Full-Time Accounts Payable/Payroll Administrator for our Head Office in Richmond, BC. The successful candidate will have two or more years experience in Accounts Payable and Payroll, have the ability to multi-task with accuracy and efficiency, and will be a self-motivated team player who can think on the fly. Key attributes for this position include exceptional organizational skills, attention to deadlines and the attitude to meet them, intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook, and problem-solving capabilities. Punctuality, clear communication skills and reliability are also essential. Working knowledge of Sage 300 (Accpac) and Payworks is an asset.

Responsibilities and Duties (will include but not be limited to):

  • Full-cycle Accounts Payable, including obtaining approvals, matching to purchase orders, coding, entry, payment, monthly accruals, account reconciliations, inter-company transactions
  • Maintaining vendor relationships
  • Issuing purchase orders
  • Full-cycle non-union Payroll for 50 employees, including journal entries, month-end accruals, ROE, using Payworks online platform
  • Liaise with department managers on Accounts Payable and Payroll related matters
  • Meet month-end deadlines as outlined (some overtime may be required)
  • Assist with other related duties as requested – credit card reconciliation etc.
  • General office duties – telephone answering, filing, etc.
